Rural TV was proud to support the 150th Canterbury A&P Show with footage from the inaugural Heartland Bank Young Auctioneer Competition, organised by Mic Withers of Rural Livestock with judges, Dennis Hazlett, Bruce Orr & John Honeybone.
All contestants battled it out with two auctions, a yearling bull & a yearling heifer from stud pedigrees in front of a large crowd on the Livestock Lawn at this years Canterbury A&P Show.
Glen Peddie of Peter Walsh & Associates took out the title with a prize to head over to the Sydney Royal Show to compete across the ditch against the Aussies!
Ryan Andrews from PGG Wrightson came second.
