MY BEST BIRTHDAY TRAIN RIDE EVER!
Welcome aboard Amtrak Amfleet I Coach Class on Amtrak's Empire Service Train heading to Niagara Falls, NY Station while our destination is Albany-Rensselaer Station. This ride will be facing the beautiful Hudson River while we head to Albany-Rensselaer Station in Upstate NY. The locomotive of this Empire Service is always the GE Genesis P32AC-DM, Why? Because diesel locomotives are prohibited in NYC's Penn Station due to ventilation concerns. Amtrak diesels like the GE P42DC and the newer Siemens ALC-42 Chargers can be used but for emergency purposes only when they do not have enough P32AC-DMs to fill in. Anyways it was a very fun ride to and from Albany-Rensselaer Station on two Amtrak trains.
