A How to video on how to remove paint from leather. I use similar methods in removing shoe polish and other coloring agents. However, the success of these truly depends on the agent and the amount of time it’s been on the bag. For example, it is EXTREMELY hard to remove old shoe polish and polish with multiple applications.
I always recommend reconditioning a leather bag properly before deciding to take leather altering methods for that ‘perfect’ look. Application of products to color these vintage Coach bags significantly alter the feel and health of your leather bags and should only be done as a last resort before trashing for example. I often see glossy thick looking paint and this bag was not such. It was painted well, but it even did not need such. Please watch and I hope you enjoy!
