Locals walk barefoot on burning coals as part of an age-old ritual — an unforgettable experience witnessing their faith, courage, and culture.

I stayed overnight near the temple to attend the 4 AM fire-walking ceremony, learning about ancient Sri Lankan traditions, beliefs, and community celebrations.
