I was just going through some old recordings and came across this conversation with Shantanu Naidu, the founder of #Goodfellows .
What opened up for me during this conversation was a combination of two things -
(1) at the core of any project is acknowledging the problem that exists and
(2) the genuineness of the intent of "why" it is important to address the problem.
If you know your "why", you are able to:
1. Persevere with patience ,
2. Solve the problem the right way,
3. Not get pressured to scale compromising on the core value of your project
4. Build a team that aligns with the mission, not just your vision alone
5. Build compassion for your clients, their needs, your team, and yourself... making it a "happy" project
