Written by Herbert Hernandez (Guitars), “Parola” was inspired from the breathtaking and lovely view at the top of Batanes. Lyrics of the song were based on everything that captured his eye in this lovely province … from House of Stones (Bahay na Bato) up to the flowers that surround the place. What surprised Herbert, however, was the Parola, the Tagalog term for Lighthouse, one of the major attractions in Batanes. The song sings about how we can be each other’s Parola (guiding light) that never burns out especially to those who need it.
