It's a beautiful Thanksgiving Day at Breckenridge Ski Resort in Colorado. The staff has done a great job in getting Peak 8 and Peak 9 ready for some early season skiing and riding. Although open terrain is limited today, the grooming and coverage are excellent for the open runs. Among the lifts operating today are the Colorado SuperChair, Five SuperChair, Rip's Ride, Peak 8 SuperConnect and Quicksilver SuperChair. Runs available include the Springmeier Family Zone, 4 O'Clock, Trygve's, Crosscut, Sawmill, Sundown, King's Way and Silverthorne, plus the beginner terrain park at the base of Peak 8. It's a great way to celebrate the holiday.
