Who says the back & sides of a guitar don't matter? This Martin D-X2E Rosewood has HPL (high pressure laminate) back & sides and sounds HUGE! The top of the D-X2E is solid spruce - and while it's fair to say IT is the most important ingredient, would you go so far as to say the rest of the guitar's materials don't matter as much? At all?
