The Bushanga, as the Bissa are also known, total about 1.7 million worldwide, with over a million residing in Ghana and a half million living in their original lands of Burkina Faso. The Bissa ethnic group is rich in culture as evidenced by their manner of dance, food, and dress. The Mandinke have a similar culture to modern Bisansi, such as cultural display and farming of peanuts.
