If I had to name one town in Croatia which is on the move, it would be Grad Bjelovar. We recently did a video featuring their impressive 250 million euro EU funds story, and next year, both the motorway and their huge geothermal spa will be open. And then there is tourism.
The Terezijana festival will start its 29th edition on June 18 and run to June 22, the biggest and most ambitious edition yet (and with two public holidays, time to visit this lovely town just 45 minutes east of Zagreb). The iconic burger and pizza festivals will be there, along with their pancake festival - the burger chaps said that Bjelovar was their best festival in all Croatia last year.
