On November 5th, 2025, the working delegation from Quy Nhon College of Engineering and Technology (QCET) visited and conducted a field survey at Dai Thanh Wood Technology Joint Stock Company in Gia Lai province. This is one of the leading wood-processing and export enterprises, with a modern factory covering more than 20 hectares and international-standard production lines.
The delegation was led by Mr. Pham Van Tuong – Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector, accompanied by Mr. Tran Trong Kiem – Vice Rector in charge of training, along with leaders of several functional offices and academic departments. The meeting took place in a warm, open, and cooperative atmosphere.
During the meeting, both sides discussed in depth the demand for skilled technical workers, especially in mechanical engineering, wood processing, CNC operation, mechatronics, welding, safety, and interior design. Dai Thanh Company highly appreciated QCET’s vocational training quality and expressed the desire to establish long-term cooperation in training, skill development, and student recruitment.
The QCET delegation also toured the company’s modern production lines, equipped with automated machinery and quality management systems meeting ISO 9001, COC, and BSCI standards, serving major export markets such as the United States, Europe, and Australia.
Both parties agreed to jointly organize internship and practicum programs for students, develop training courses closely linked to real production needs, and move towards signing a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in the near future.
In his remarks, Mr. Pham Van Tuong – Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of QCET, emphasized: 'The college always considers enterprises as strategic partners in vocational training. Cooperation with Dai Thanh Wood Company enables our students to learn by doing, and provides real opportunities to work in modern industrial environments right after graduation.'
The visit to Dai Thanh Wood Company was a meaningful activity under the program “Enterprises Accompany Schools” initiated by Quy Nhon College of Engineering and Technology. This collaboration strengthens the connection between training and the labor market, and broadens internship and employment opportunities for QCET students in the new phase.
