Halle Berry then and now (1989 - 2025)

Halle Berry began her career in the late 1980s with TV roles and made her film debut in 1991’s Jungle Fever*. She gained recognition in the 1990s with films like *Boomerang and *Introducing Dorothy Dandridge*, which earned her an Emmy and a Golden Globe.

In 2001, she became the first Black woman to win the Academy Award for Best Actress for Monster’s Ball*. She also starred in major franchises like *X-Men and Die Another Day*, though *Catwoman (2004) was a notable flop.

Throughout the 2010s, she remained active in both film and TV, including *Cloud Atlas*, *The Call*, and the series *Extant*. In 2019, she had a successful action role in *John Wick 3*.
