After Loki caused the death of Balder, the god of light, the treacherous god continues to disrupt the plans of the other gods. To escape their wrath, Loki disguises himself as a carp but ends up being captured. As punishment, he is imprisoned under the earth, with a serpent dripping venom onto his skin.
