[4K]京都 晴明祭 - 2025/9/23 - Kyoto Seimei Matsuri in Nishijin, Kamigyo Ward

京都の歴史的な西陣にある晴明神社を祀る晴明祭の行列。堀川付近と晴明神社前の複数の場所から行列を撮影しました。DJI Osmo Pocket 3を使用して4K 60fpsで撮影しました。

The procession for the Seimei Festival, held to honor the Seimei Shrine in Kyoto's historic Nishijin neighborhood. We film the parade from several locations near the Horikawa and in front of the Seimei Shrine. Filmed in 4K at 60fps on a DJI Osmo Pocket 3.

平安中期（900年頃）の陰陽師、安倍晴明（920-1005）。陰陽師とは、星を読み、占いをする天文学者だ。彼は陰陽道における数多くのまじない、術、儀式を駆使し、都を災厄から守護していたとされ、現代でもその伝説から小説や映画、ゲームのキャラクターなどになっており、未だ多くの熱烈なファンを持つ人物だ。

そんな安倍晴明を祀る晴明神社では「晴明祭」が、毎年秋分の日（昼と夜の長さがほぼ同じとなる日。日本の祝日。）とその前夜に行われる。秋分の日前夜午後7時からは「宵宮祭」があり、迎え提灯の練り歩きや湯立神楽が奉納される。また「例祭」は秋分の日午前10時から行われる、晴明神社において最も重要な祭儀だ。氏子たちが多数参列し、献茶や献花等が行われ、境内には露店が立ちならび、たいへん賑わいを見せる。午後には「神幸祭」も行われ神輿渡御や稚児行列も行われる。

The Master of Yin and Yang, Abe no Seimei (920-1005) was active in the mid Heian Era. As an astronomer, he could also read the stars, and tell fortunes. Using many "magic spells", techniques and rituals regarding Yin and Yang, he was able to protect the capital from disasters. Even now, he has an amazingly passionate following and is the source of many legends, novels, movies and even video game characters.

The Seimei-sai is held at the shrine in which Abe no Seimei is deified, on the day of the Autumn Equinox, a national holiday, as well as the night before. On the eve of Seimei-sai, a parade of "welcoming" lanterns and offering performances of the traditional Yutate Kagura are held from 7:00pm at the Yoi-miya festival. The Rei-sai is held from 10:00am earlier that morning, and is the most significant ritual of the Seimei Shrine. Parishioners form many lines and perform tea and flower offerings to the deity. Open-air markets fill the shrine grounds and attract many people. In the afternoon, the Shinko-sai (a temporary "walk" for an enshrined deity) is held along with a mikoshi (portable shrine) parade, and a procession of specially chosen children.
