Forecast was 8-12mph, so I just brough my 9.0m sail and 1800/350 foil set. It was steady 15 with gust to 20! Hindsight I should have brought smaller gear just in case. Lesson learned! 7.5m sail and 1200/250 probably would have been perfect. Anyway I got great experience in being overpowered on a Foil. I intentionally tried to keep the board low to the water and got some good experience flagging my sail while on foil while on broad reaches. Cool Feeling to just be standing there flying with the sail barely powered and going with the waves. So I was successful in avoiding catapults this session. Win for me!
