WATCH IT IN ACTION! Tamiya XV-02 Pro Rally Car

The XV-02 Pro is the long awaited next-gen Rally car from Tamiya. It is a completely new design, features a tub chassis with centralized motor, front and rear gear diffs, 4-wheel independent long-travel suspension and even a few hop up parts in the box - the best being those beautiful aluminum shocks!

We had a chance to take this car out to a monthly Rally event held at Crest Community Church in Riverside, California. It was a nice day, temps in the mid 70's, which was great since the track had been enlarged with an extensive technical section.

This was our first time here. We ran our XV-01 to get a baseline time but it didn't really matter - our XV-02 blew that time away by about 10 seconds - again, on the first run!

This car is extremely easy to drive, very consistent and downright fast!
