Cimarron City is an American Western TV show that aired on NBC from October 11, 1958, to September 26, 1959. It starred George Montgomery as Matt Rockford and John Smith as Lane Temple. Logan County, Oklahoma, north of Oklahoma City, is home to Cimarron City, a boomtown. In 1907, Cimarron City aspires to become the capital of the newly formed state of Oklahoma. Cimarron City has abundant oil and gold resources.
