We finally made it to Custer South Dakota. A trip that had been on our wishlist for years. The plan was to cycle parts of the Mickelson Trail in the morning and go sightseeing in the afternoon. Our first full day at Custer South Dakota we started off cycling to Hill City. It was a bit of work for me as I drove to Hill City early and parked the car at the trail head in town, then cycled a part of the Needles Highway back to the campground for breakfast. We cycled as a family back to Hill City, then spent the afternoon having other fun. Hope you enjoy this video of the first day biking the trail.
