Part 1 of 2 ,,This video provides excellent footage of an intense brush fire fought by Cape Cod and subsequently a large mutual aid contingent across the state. The 15,000 acre Brush Fire on Cape Cod occurred on April 19-23 1946 across the upper end of Cape Cod from Sagamore to Mashpee. This footage was provided by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation with video transfer by National Boston of Brookline, Ma.
