WE RODE THE CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN GONDOLA TO WASHINGTON’S HIGHEST RESTAURANT

In this video we take you to Crystal Mountain in Washington , off of Highway 410 to do a unique experience of riding a gondola up to the highest restaurant in Washington.

Once you get to the resort and buy your tickets you go up in a 4-6 person gondola with some of the best views of the surrounding valleys next to Crystal Mountain. You may even see some Elk if you are lucky enough.

Once you get to the top you are greeted with some amazing views of Mount Rainer. We feel like these are the some the best views that you can get of the mountain. You can also go explore on numerous trails around the area, including the one we went on that showcased some amazing valley views. Be on the lookout for some interpretive signs along the mountains ridge side to learn some facts about Mount Rainier and the surrounding area.

Once we got done with that we made our way to the Summit House Restaurant , the highest restaurant in Washington at 6,872 ft tall. You have options to dine inside and outside. The menu items inside are a bit expensive , but they do have some cheaper and limited options out on the back patio to soak up those sun drenched views of Mount Rainier.

Follow us back to our campground at The Dalles Forest service campground just a couple miles away from the Crystal Mountain. Here we show you are bit about the campground with the 9 foot wide tree and that great White River soaking area , perfect after that hot day on the mountain.

We had an amazing time on this adventure and wound do it again. Just note that this is not the cheapest excursion to go on, but is definitely worth it.
