Dr. Bennet Zelner explores how psychedelic experiences may transform leadership in response to the metacrisis—the interwoven economic, ecological, and social breakdowns of our time. Together with Prof. Rachelle Sampson, he is leading the Connected Leadership Study, investigating whether reconnection-focused experiences, such as psychedelics, can foster long-term, stakeholder-driven decision-making in organizational leaders.
This talk challenges traditional models of top-down leadership and proposes a regenerative, distributed approach—one that prioritizes collective intelligence, interconnection, and sustainable systems thinking. Could psychedelic experiences help catalyze the shift?
