About the Guest – Reem Sharif
Reem Sharif is a Khawajasira (Transgender Woman), Transgender Rights Activist, Trainer, Motivational Speaker, and the first transgender person in Pakistan to be employed in Grade 18 as Deputy Director in the government. She previously worked in the Police Department and has been recognized for her contributions, including:
• Youth Icon of Pakistan Award by the Governor of Punjab
• Youth Excellence Award conferred by the Prime Minister of Pakistan
• Transgender Woman Trailblazer of Pakistan 2021 at the Presidency
