In this video, we’ll be covering scales, one of the most fundamental and essential exercises for a pianist. It develops finger independence, dexterity and consistency, and it helps your ear and mind acclimate to higher and higher tempi.

We will cover 3 levels of playing scales: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. We will try some difficult exercises that will test our hand and finger independence as well as our rhythmic and technical consistency.
