Cracking Down on the Anti-Fried Liver (3...h6?!) | Climbing the Rating Ladder vs. 1690

In this continuation of the "Climbing the Rating Ladder" series I take on players of various ratings levels while pointing out typical mistakes and spots for improvement along the way (possibly my own!? :)). Here I commentate a 10+0 game against a player rated 1690 on Chess.com. The Anti-Fried Liver Defense (1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 h6?!) is a popular response to the Italian Game at lower levels, as Black looks to permanently rule out a Nf3-g5 attack on f7. White should immediately break in the center against this suboptimal line and look for tactical opportunities as Black scrambles to catch up in development.
