Positive Review Setup – Five Stars Reputation

After receiving a positive review, it's important to respond or give feedback to the customer. Feedback strengthens relationships, reinforces good experiences, and motivates continued excellence. This feature works across all modes: Kiosk, Tablet, Email Marketing, SMS Marketing, and Print Marketing.
Setting Positive Ratings

You can define how many stars represent a "positive rating." Simply tick the desired range in your settings.
Send Reviewer To – 7 Destination Options

Once a positive review is submitted, you can redirect the reviewer to one of the following options:
1. Thank You Page

This lets you display a customised thank you message.

Enable this feature by selecting “Thank You Page” under the “Send Reviewer To” section.

Choose a delay between 10 and 60 seconds before redirecting.

Use HTTPS format for the redirect URL (e.g., https://www.website.com) to ensure proper loading.

You can adjust the placement and font size of the message. Click Save when done.

2. Directory Site

Redirect the reviewer to a business directory of your choice. This helps promote online visibility. Enter a valid directory site URL and review URL, using HTTPS formatting.

3. Custom URL

Use a short, memorable URL tied to your brand. Enter a secure link (e.g., https://yourbrand.com). This directs the feedback app to a destination you control.
Thank You Page with Directories

With this setup:

The reviewer sees a thank you message.

The page automatically links to up to three directory sites.

You can customise the display with QR code support, directory logo clicks, and alert triggers when logos are selected.

You can:

Enable delays of 10–60 seconds.

Make directory logos clickable.

Enable email alerts when logos are clicked.

Choose directory positions: Left, Center, or Right.

Adjust alignment, font, and colour of thank you messages.

Managing Directories

Go to the Directories section to manage your links:

Active or Connected Directories – currently live and synced with Five Stars.

Your Directories – saved directories you can reuse in feedback apps.

Available Directories – directories that can be added to your list.

You can add a new directory manually:

Click Add New Directory.

Fill in Directory Site URL and Review URL.

Upload a logo, choose a colour, then click Save.

The new directory will now appear under your Active/Connected Directories.
QR Code Integration

QR codes provide quick access to feedback forms, removing the need for manual data entry—ideal for mobile users.

To generate a QR Code:

Select QR Code in the "Send Reviewer To" section.

Enable delay (10s to 60s).

Enter a redirect URL using HTTPS formatting.

Add a thank you message, choose alignment, font size, and colour.

Update the landing page (GMB review is the default).

Choose QR code colour to match your branding.

Upload an image for your QR code.

Click Save.

Send a Transactional SMS

Transactional SMS is sent automatically in response to user actions (e.g., submitting a review). These messages improve customer satisfaction by delivering timely updates.

To enable:

Check Record Name and Phone in Tablet Mode.

Choose Send Transactional SMS in the “Send Reviewer To” section.

Enable delay (10s to 60s).

Enter an HTTPS-formatted URL for redirection.

Write a thank you message and customise alignment and style.

Click Save.

Send a Transactional Email

Similar to SMS, transactional emails are triggered after a specific action, like submitting a review.

To enable:

Check Record Name and Email in Tablet Mode.

Choose Send Transactional Email in the settings.

Enable a delay (10s to 60s).

Provide an HTTPS redirect URL.

Customise and save your thank you message with placement, font size, alignment, and colour.

Once saved, this is the page the customer will see after submitting a review.
