Footage from my flight home after passing my checkride. I was unable to film my checkride, but it went very smoothly. I had a great examiner who worked me on all of the things I had been trained to do. Normal takeoffs, Max-P takeoffs, settling with power demo, steep approach, quick-stops, hover autos, autorotations, slope landings, confined area landings...It was all covered. After a 1.2 hour checkride, my license was in-hand. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor or a better examiner. Thanks to Timmy Brothers for the excellent instruction and to my examiner for making my checkride a wonderful experience. After flying 2.2 hours each way from KMRH to KHBI, flying 1.2 hours for my checkride...I ended up with a total time in the R22 of 43.5 hours to get my license.
Total Time R22/R44: 47.1 Hrs
Total Time R22: 45.7 Hrs
