Justice is inherently about what is right, rooted in God's law and character. Adding qualifiers like "social" introduces concepts that may diverge from true biblical justice. Justice is not a component of the saving gospel itself, but it is a command and a reflection of a transformed life in Christ.
Scripture calls believers to live justly, show sacrificial love, and demonstrate kindness, mercy, and compassion. Christians are to care for widows, orphans, the oppressed, the sick, and those in prison, following the example of Jesus Christ. Christ revealed His deity not only through acts of power but also through compassion—healing the sick, feeding the hungry, and comforting the suffering. These actions showcased God's tender, loving mercy.
While justice and acts of compassion are not part of the saving gospel, they are the evidence of a heart transformed by it. Believers are called to emulate Christ’s love and care for those in need as a testimony to the world, demonstrating the impact of salvation in their lives.
