Chainsaw Man Chapter 199 Enjoy Your Food

Falling Devil remarks to her boss that the duo are likely staring at her exposed underwear, prompting the Death Devil to hastily cover herself. In response to her sister’s inquiry, Death explains that if she were to die, another Death Devil—one likely even less sympathetic toward humans—would take her place. When Fake Chainsaw Man asks if she couldn’t simply quit, she clarifies that the process is subconscious; regardless of her will, humanity will always fear death the most on the day of The Prophecy.

Famine proposes an alternative solution—allowing herself to be eaten by Chainsaw Man, thereby erasing the very concept of death and saving humanity. Death briefly considers the idea but ultimately insists that if they truly wish to protect humanity, they must work with her. Fake Chainsaw Man eagerly agrees, but Death reveals it’s futile—she plans to devour them instead.

Summoning a swarm of crows, she commands them to consume Famine and Fake Chainsaw Man alive. Once the gruesome act is complete, Falling Devil asks how the meal tasted. Death dismissively replies that it was unpleasant before regurgitating miniature doll-like versions of her victims. Falling then explains that Death’s power allows her to control those she kills, though she questions why Death doesn’t slay her victims before consuming them. Death responds that she finds it both more respectful and more flavorful this way.

As she prepares to summon her sister and Fake Chainsaw Man as her puppets, Famine immediately retaliates. Falling Devil threatens to sever Famine’s head, but Death counters by ordering her newly created dolls to spread as much terror as possible—leaving them with no choice but to comply.
