BMC Election Result: Devendra Fadnavis Victory Speech After Massive BJP Win In Mumbai | LIVE

The BJP–Shiv Sena alliance has emerged victorious in the BMC elections, ending the Thackerays’ long-standing dominance over Asia's richest civic body. As a result, Mumbai is set to get a BJP–Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) mayor after a long gap. After the BJP's historic performance in the Mumbai civic body, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has emerged as the man of the moment. Under his leadership, the BJP has surpassed its previous high of 82 seats in 2017, winning or leading in 88 of the 227 wards in the BMC so far. Its Mumbai ally, the Shiv Sena, is ahead in 28 seats, taking the alliance comfortably past the halfway mark of 114.
