SPOTLIGHT EP 3. 🌟: Last but not least, to close out BHM 2024, meet Adom Bondzi-Simpson, a dedicated PGY4 general surgery resident making waves in the medical field! His passion for surgery is matched only by his commitment to patient care and community health. He is currently working on his PhD in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Care Research.
Adom is a founder of Upsurge, a mentorship program aimed at stimulating interest, providing support, and guiding BIPOC and underrepresented students in pursuing surgical careers.
Mentors like Adom are the backbone of medicine.
