LOST FOOTAGE 2007

This footage I thought was lost but I recently found it on an old SD card . this was when the TRAKTOR Z2 had released I was switching over from the Rane 57SL because they had stopped doing firmware updates and switched over to Serato DJ from Scratch Live I remember the cost of the 62 was over $1,000 and I was like hell no I'm not spending that kind of money on a new mixer I was super salty at Rane for dogging the Scratch live users so I moved back to Traktor it was the first DVS system I ever used when final scratch was released with Stanton plus the Z2 was only $700. On my original YouTube page before it was wiped out I had multiple people ask me to demo scratching on the Z2 . This was after I modified the mini Innofaders by cleaning and removing the tension springs that process can be found in my video page. this particular mixer lasted me 3 months then the left phono channel went bad on me it was right after I did a show opening up for KRS ONE . So once I received a new Z2 directly from Native Instruments I drove 200 miles to a guitar center in Denver and traded in for a RANE 62 and paid the difference. I loved the Z2 and was sad it went bad on me but I never forgot how much I enjoyed playing on it so many years later I purchased another one off a buddy of mine and its the mixer I use to this day .
