"For Good" Martlet Version | Cover by Lady ETHNE (Undertale Yellow/Wicked)

I like taking depressing songs and making them about Undertale Yellow :)

What is up with Stephen Schwartz musicals and making me cry? First Prince of Egypt because of literally everything and now Wicked with this song specifically. I love the guy's work but dang.

When I heard For Good for the first time, I thought it might work with Martlet and how Clover's journey with her changed her. A lot of Wicked songs I feel like work really nicely in the context of the show but if you strip them of their context you can probably put them in other contexts and it still works.

This isn't my best work, and I know this song isn't nearly as good as a solo, but I still think this turned out okay, especially since this recording is old. I only changed part of the lyrics in the bridge because in the context of the pacifist route, Clover didn't do anything wrong, and acting like they did with the original lyrics didn't feel right. Also added some lyrics to a very familiar tune.
