Turn unwanted thank-you cards or thick cardboard into a beautiful vintage ephemera folder! ♻️✨
In this easy tutorial, I’ll show you how I upcycled a sports team thank-you card into a sturdy base for a pocket folder. I covered it with book pages for that aged, vintage look — then used another card (with slightly whiter paper for contrast) to create layered pockets. Finally, I decorated everything to make it look like a timeless journal insert.
This DIY project is simple, relaxing, and perfect for using up scraps while creating something beautiful for your junk journals or penpal letters.
🪶 What you’ll need:
Old greeting or thank-you cards (sturdy base)
Book pages
Glue stick or double-sided tape
Scissors
Ephemera or stickers for decoration
Perfect for:
Junk journals
Vintage paper crafts
Penpal letters
Stationery organization
