EV road trip review: the 340-mile Cupra Born is the electric VW Golf GTi. The Cupra Born costs more than the VW ID.3 - the car it is based on - and it is available in two battery sizes, the larger of which (77kWh) promises 340 miles WLTP. So Jonny Smith embarked on a UK road trip from North Wales, across to Dublin (Ireland), up to Northern Ireland via the scenic route, then across to Scotland, finishing up in The Lake District (Northern England). There was fun to be had, and roads to be enjoyed, but what did he think of the Cupra Born?
