2nd Grade Homeschool Curriculum Picks (2026) | What We’re Using This Term (Episode 4)

This is not a “do everything perfectly” plan, it’s our real-life mix of core curriculum + unit studies + reading, built to keep learning strong without burnout. I’ll walk through what we’re using for 2nd grade language arts and math, how our unit studies fit in (including what we’re finishing right now), and how we blend history, social studies, and science through reading, co-op, and the learning we do through travel and real-world experiences.
