In 2014 I bought this bottle of concentrated (approx 35%) hydrogen peroxide from a hydroponics store (yes this is absolutely a euphemism for what this store specializes in). After about 6 or 7 years of periodically removing some amount of liquid from the bottle to do reactions, I needed it for the oxidation of Manganese (II) Chloride, and I needed to know its concentration reasonably accurately. So....I did this. There are things about my under-use of PPE that are fair game for criticism.
The music is an electronic music project that my wife Grace Weber and I collaborated on - the concepts in the music are all hers, and the instrumentation and arrangement are my contribution. I think it's called "Chinz" and I think our band is called "Dr. Spaceship and the Underwater Fishes" but we might also go by "The Very Serious People" or something like that. I had fun with editing this one together.
In the next video, I'll show you how I used this hydrogen peroxide in one of the two routes I took to get from MnCl2 to Mn2O3.
