Is the PSA TRADING CARD Slab Finally Dead? | PSM

Is it finally time!? For a long time, PSA has offered an authentication option that let's face it, didn't mean too much for collectors. I used it from time to time for lower value cards, mostly just to get the card slabbed and autograph authenticated. I'm talking about the PSA slab that just says "TRADING CARD." This is the slab that only authenticates the autograph, not the card.

Recently, PSA has recently lowered their pricing on their full service slab label, where they authenticate not just the autograph but also the card. Does this mean the trading card slab is dead? That's what we are talking about on today's episode.
