Pattern Explorations - Seeds, seed pods and flowers - 23 August 2023

Well, this took an unexpected turn! I initially was going to re-create a bookmark/tag I made yesterday, but ended up doing almost a page of explorations!

I always surprise myself with how much I enjoy exploring motifs, patterns and ideas. It's always a lot of fun to see how things can evolve. Something I need to do more regularly for sure.

My apologies for sometimes floating off the screen ... I forget to check when I'm wrapped up in the art!

Materials used :
A5 piece of SeaWhite of Brighton All Media paper
03 Pentel Preppy fountain pen filled with Aurora Borealis Diamine Ink
A pencil
A selection of teal, blue, purple and white Faber-Castell Pitt pastel pencils
Tortillons and erasers.
