Learn about a USDA mango research project in Hawai‘i that’s evaluating the effectiveness of Thyme Guard®, an organically certified plant essential oil (EO) product, on pathogens of mango such as anthracnose (Colletotrichum spp.) and powdery mildew (Oidium mangiferae). This will be an update from year 4 of the project. Also, learn about a CTAHR project that is researching the use of potassium nitrate to stimulate off-season mango production, even after heavily pruning the tree a year prior.
