In Episode 1, we meet Lin Han, once the prodigy and heir of the esteemed Lin clan. After a mysterious tragedy wiped out his family, he is now mocked as a fallen nobody. As he steps onto the stage for his Awakening Ceremony, his rival, the arrogant Feng Yang, believes Lin Han will be nothing more than a simple brick hauler.
The climax hits when Lin Han places his hand on the sacred steel. The ensuing energy surge is so immense it shakes the entire square, leaving everyone stunned. The result is revealed: Hidden Profession, Grade Six, Beast Tamer. While rare, Feng Yang immediately mocks the class as "useless" without infinite resources.
Lin Han fires back with a savage retort, but just as Feng Yang unleashes his fury, the Ice Queen teacher Bai Bing arrives to protect him. Later that night, the Divine Beast Taming System that has been dormant for three years is finally activated! The episode ends on a hilarious cliffhanger as Lin Han is forced to contract his first "ultra-rare" beast: the tiny but mighty Heavenly Horned Ant!
