𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲:
This car came to us from Minnesota to with significant drivability issues, including stuttering and breakup under boost. The vehicle, previously assembled / tuned by another shop in an unconventional manner to the platform. It featured a six-port injection kit as well as JMF port injection manifold with 1700 cc injectors, a vacuum block with a complex network of vacuum lines and tees that worked against itself. The wiring was subpar and fell short of standard practices. After conducting a comprehensive health check, we identified various aspects requiring attention or modification to enhance efficiency and align with the customer’s objectives. We meticulously disassembled, reorganized, and consolidated the setup, removing the six-port injection for resale on the customers end. Additionally, we replaced several failed components discovered during our thorough inspection, including a Grim Speed EBCS and split second controller. After installing new parts, fresh plugs, conducting an oil change, and performing a comprehensive nut and bolt check, we provided the customer with a new tune from Freektune. Upon placing the car on our Dyno, it layed down a stout 411HP / 391TQ! Back on a transport truck it goes! 🫡
