[Hawaii] Honolulu Fire Dept. Engine 9 Responding from Kakaako Fire Station!

Captured here is Engine 9 of the Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) responding out of Kakaako Fire Station, which is also connected to the HFD Headquarters. Engine Company No. 9 had a busy day that day as they were already on a call when I toured the station, and received another emergency run shortly after returning to the station. It is relatively hard to catch fire engines responding in Honolulu, as most medical calls and non-fire related incidents are handled by the department's aerial rigs. This is done to keep the water carrying engines ready to respond to fires as much as possible, as fires can spread rapidly in the city's structures, mostly due to high winds from the sea.
