Supercell thunderstorms developed across Northeastern Texas on Saturday, April 29, 2017. This coverage (visit www.NBCDFW.com for News, Weather, and Sports coverage) includes a couple of supercell thunderstorms, and an associated line which merged, producing multiple damaging tornadoes just to the East of Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. This includes the Canton, Texas tornado. One of these tornadoes was rated as EF-4 by the National Weather Service.
