It’s normally a winger scoring in the corner, a half pulling off a solo play, or a fullback in support, but these players stepped up to score the match winning play which not many people would have predicted. For this list, the game-winning play must have been in the NRL ear and the final scoring play of the match. If it was a try, it must be a forward, if it was a goal kick, it must not be the primary goal kicker and if it was a field goal, it must not be from a playmaker. This is because all of these scenarios are considered “unlikely.”
