All snares were tested with a Remo Controlled Sound Coated batter head.

Kit: C&C 12th&Vine Maple 22X14" bass drum

The audio was recorded using a matched pair of AKG C414 for overheads, a Shure SM57 for the snare and a AKG D112 for the bass drum.
