I bought a couple of antique lamps for cheap, that were missing their shades and then used figured maple to make some pretty lamp shades for them. With the use of various tool in my wood shop, I created 8 segmented rings per globe, and then glued them up and turned them very thin on my lathe. I hope you enjoy!
