Large pressure vessel welding with automated positioners and work supports to handle parts up to 38,000 lbs. This is the third machine for this manufacturer in two years time, with two more on order. These robotic weld cells have revolutionized there manufacturing process. Welding is not shown in this video due to confidentiality restrictions. Multi Pass welds join the end caps with circumferential welds, as well as complete joint penetration on all manholes and fittings. Up to 3" wall thickness on these parts.
