I filmed this in 2024 and own all the rights to it, including but not limited to all audio and visual material, as I personally recorded it to showcase the wide range of aircraft and airlines that operate at Vienna International Airport in Austria.

Vienna International Airport (VIE), located about 18 kilometers southeast of central Vienna in Schwechat, is Austria’s largest and busiest airport. As the country’s primary international gateway, it plays a crucial role in connecting Austria with key destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America. Its central location in Europe also makes it a strategic hub for both short-haul and long-haul traffic.

The airport is equipped with two parallel runways and a modern terminal complex designed to handle a large volume of passengers and cargo efficiently. VIE serves as the main hub for Austrian Airlines and an important base for low-cost carriers like Ryanair and Wizz Air. It also welcomes a wide range of international airlines, including Lufthansa, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, KLM, and Air France. Prior to the pandemic, Vienna Airport handled more than 30 million passengers annually, reinforcing its position as a key aviation center in Central Europe.

I created this video to give aviation enthusiasts and curious viewers an up-close look at the dynamic activity at Vienna International Airport. From the variety of aircraft types and international airlines to the steady rhythm of arrivals and departures, VIE offers a unique and captivating plane-spotting experience. My goal was to share this with those who may not be able to visit in person—bringing the energy and excitement of air travel at Vienna Airport directly to them, wherever they are.
