First woman to command the forward-deployed Singapore-based Task Force 73
First woman to command a battle fleet
First woman to serve as Commander, 3rd Fleet

Admiral Tyson retired from the Navy in 2017 after 38 years of service and in this fascinating conversation, this remarkable sailor shares her journey from enlisting in the Navy in 1979 to high level command.
