The tradition of soaking the nuts and raisins a month in advance and making this Traditional Christmas Rum Cake is very special to me. This year its extra special as I am also taking orders for Christmas Hampers. Today's recipe is of the same rum cake which is part of my hamper.
Unlike other traditional cake recipes, this cake is loaded with dry fruits, berries, to cherish in each bite.
Even though it is popularly called a Christmas rum cake, but it is widely known as Fruit Cake or Plum Cake because of its fruit punch and boozy effect in each bite.
